Amazingly, the Letlhakane uranium deposit is a very large deposit with a joint ore reserves committee (JORC) resource of approximately 365.7 million pounds U3O8. This includes a high grade resource of approximately 103 million tons at 450 parts per million (ppm) U3O8.
The Mea Coal Project has a JORC compliant mineral resource of approximately 335 million tons coal.
A-Cap provides the following global resource chart on their website:
The environmental impact statement (EIS) was approved in May of 2016 for this project. The license to mine was granted in September of the same year.
The Letlhakane uranium project is planned as an open pit mine. The mine is planned to produce up to 3.75 million pounds of uranium per year once in production. The project has an estimated mine life of 18 years. The company secured a 22 year mining license for this project in 2016.
This project is among the top 10 undeveloped uranium deposits on Earth.
The company’s Wilconi Nickel Cobalt Project is its first nickel-cobalt laterite project. This project is located approximately 700 kilometers (435 miles) from Perth, Australia.
Through a definitive farm-in joint venture with Blackham Resources, A-Cap Energy will secure a 75% interest in the project. This project is in the Wiluna region and has had several prior explorers evaluating the potential of the region. A mineral resources study was completed in 2005 and demonstrated a JORC inferred resource of 80.5 million tons at 0.77% Nickel, and 0.058% Cobalt.
